Send More Emails

Still sending two or three generic emails a month to your entire customer base? That’s not enough—and it’s not smart targeting either.
In wholesale, relevance beats reach. Your job is to send more emails to fewer people—not fewer emails to everyone.
Here’s how most wholesalers approach email:
✖ One blanket email at the start of the month
✖ One promo push mid-month
✖ One “don’t forget to order” nudge near the end
That’s not strategy. That’s shouting into the void.
Here’s what you should be doing instead:
✔ New flavour in stock? Email only those who already buy that product range.
✔ New SKUs in a category? Email the customers who regularly buy from that category.
✔ Promo running on drinks? Don’t send it to people who only buy cleaning chemicals.
Even if a new product only matters to 10 customers—it’s worth it. Those 10 make you profit.
Just follow two basic rules:
- Don’t send the same content to someone twice.
- Don’t email the same person more than once a day unless it’s urgent or time-sensitive.
