Most wholesale businesses set up a websiteβ¦ and then forget to track whatβs actually happening on it.
If your site is meant to support customers, drive orders, or convert leadsβyou need to know if itβs doing its job.
Hereβs what every wholesale website should be tracking:
β Login frequency
How often are your customers logging in? Whoβs gone quiet? If activity drops off, your orders will follow.
β Search terms used
What are customers looking for on your site? If they keep searching for something you donβt stock, thatβs a clue.
β Basket abandonment rate
Are people adding products but not checking out? You might have issues with pricing, minimum order value, or delivery options.
β Page load speed
Slow = lost orders. Wholesale buyers are busyβthey wonβt wait for clunky pages to load.
β Top exit pages
Which pages are causing people to leave? If itβs your basket or login page, somethingβs broken.
You donβt need fancy toolsβGoogle Analytics and Hotjar are more than enough to get started.
π If youβre not measuring your siteβs performance, youβre guessing. And guessing doesnβt grow revenue.
